Tennessee Walking Horse
BlackJack is a big 15.2 hand Chocolate Registered TWH Gelding. Best suited for an intermediate and up rider.
Barefoot with lovely big boned legs and solid healthy hooves. We have been gettin him back into condition after he has been laid off for a while. Lots of trail miles on him before the layoff. He has a motor, but is easy to maintain a slower speed. Super smooth rack. Haven't worked him up to his top speed, as most of my clients want the slower ones. But he has some moving racks in him. He will canter to one lead, but needs to finish fitting to get the other one.
Ties, loads, bathes, goes in water, crosses bridges (even suspension bridge), teeter totter, tarp with plastic jugs under, trail ride. He can look at things, but he is just getting back into the swing of things.
Give him a ride and see how much fun you can have.
mIDNIGHT pUSHING SUNBEAMS
12/01 TWH/KMSHA double registered black Mare. 15.1+ hands in her keg shoes. She is the best of both worlds. Put her in the show ring and she has the presence to perform and win (she can show either Walking horse or Kentucky Mountain) Put her on a trail and she is a fun ride. Double Sun’s Delight D on the bottom (dam on site) and Back Up and Push, a Pusher son on the top side. Smooth rides that will get you noticed no matter where you are. This mare was born and raised here. No problem with loading, cross ties, bathes, clipping (except she is not in love with her ears). Has great hooves and very rarely loses a shoe, no matter what the size, but now she is barefoot and still moves great. We have clients using her at FIELD TRIALS. So ok with guns and dogs. Also, she will not run out of energy! Can go all day long! She ponies, goes by busy traffic roads, I use her to head trail rides, ride her bareback from the pasture (as she parks low for you to mount).
Gens Pushing Maverick
Maverick is a nicely built '01 Triple registered TWH, SSH, & NSSHA black and white gelding.
He is barefoot and a smooth ride that has lots of trail experience. He is presently owned by a youth, and before that was a husbands horse.
Clips, ties, loads, stands to mount and dismount, goes out by himself and with a group (see pics of youth a few years ago at kids camp). UTD on all. Easy keeper. No allergies or health issues.
Gaits lovely in a flat walk, a rack and a canter. Only fault I can find in the almost 10 years I have known him is he will cheat and try to step pace, but it is smooth also. I am just particular to a gaited horse doing it right!
Best with a confident rider, as most horses are.
Youth has grown up and parents are making changes.
OUR SPOTTED COIN
10-20-06 TWHBEA Gelding. 15 hands, light build, beautifully smooth gaits!!! He was recently gelded and was never bred so he has lovely manners about being around other horses. Easy to ride. Not hard to handle, but a little loud sometimes...lol. Working on his flat walk, but his rack can't be beat for smoothness. I rode him after a year of no riding and he was just about perfect. No buck, or rear, or become hard to handle. Actually he neckreins almost a good as a reining horse. His owner is a lovely older woman that lost her husband last year...and this was his horse. They trail rode all over and that was when he was a stallion! Ties, loads, bathes, works well with the farrier, vet and dentist.
Don't Miss This Fantastic Guy!!! Videos on Youtube.com...search for horsewmn1 and look for Our Spotted Coin.
THREAT TO PUSH PRIDE
THE SIRE OF GEORGE AT APPROXIMATELY 23 YEARS OLD. A DIRECT SON OF EBONY'S MASTERPIECE.
12-29-04 "George" as he is known around the farm is a beautiful example of a naturally gaited horse. 15.3 hands. TWHBEA. He was born and raised here. You can see his dam and some half siblings that we have here on site. He is Liver Chestnut with grey roaning on his coat It looks like he has a silver sheen to his coat. His Sire turned Dapple Gray at 13 and stayed with a black mane and tail until his death when he was in his mid 20's. Barefoot and has many gaits. Rack, Flat Walk, Running Walk, and the prettiest canter!!!! Neckrein or direct rein. Western or English. Has Shown and been on trails, trail obstacle course, field trials (so gun sounds and dogs don't bother him) and now GAITED DRESSAGE!!! He is a natural at it!!!
GOLD CASANOVA OR DUKE
'08 14.3+ Golden Palomino TWHBEA Gelding. Beautiful and Sweet and fun to ride. In your pocket, but still young. He is a smooth riding trail ride that we have been getting lots of time with different people to be the best mount for you. Barefoot, neckreins some. Mostly as super smooth rack (his fav), but does Flatwalk and started cantering. Gets along with other horses. Will go out alone, and loves to go out with others. Not a speed monster, so if you want to just meander or cruise at a moving speed, he will offer you what you ask. We keep adding checks to his resume...going to shows, ponying off him, trail obstacles. We are well on our way to making him the complete package, looks and performance.
Ask about our onsite lease to be sure he is the right mount for you.
This 11year old Walking gelding has a beautiful look and a super smooth gait. Big and full bodied with a nice thick bone. 15.2+ and he is an eyecatching Bay Roan. Smooth Rack and we are working on his flat walk & neckreining. They aren't bad, just tuning them up. Has front shoes, but not really necessary. Good balanced ride, most rides on the trail are great, but he does need a secure rider. I would say a guy would love him. He isn't mean or dangerous, just not brave all the time! A timid rider would not be a good match right now. Present owner is small, retired and has decided that trying to get that high is not working for her. I had him for a month and I loved how well he wanted to work with me. Some things did have him dancing a bit but with a confident rider, he went right along. Easy keeper and a love to be around!
THIS GREAT GUY HAS BECOME A RIDERS DREAM. GREAT WITH DENTIST, FARRIER, VET.
'08 Chestnut Registered Tennessee Walking Gelding. Beam, as we call him doesn't know how to take a non walking stride. Head nodding, smooth long stride that is consistent and very rhythmical. Smooth, fancy and fun to ride. And enjoys being an obstacle course participant. Even helping to calm others on obstacles that they find scary. Great dispostion. Has get up and go, but holds his flat walk and running walk and canter on a fairly loose rein. We ride him in a small argentine snaffle with great results. Show or trail this guy is an active riders paradise as he has the experience and does both. We use him for lessons, safety trail horse (someone we trust to help a nervous rider be on their horse on the trail), doesn't care if he is in the back or front.
A few videos of this smooth riding gelding. You can take a dozen pictures and each one will show the same stride, head nod and floppy ears!!!
DOBBS FIRST CLASS - AKA MERCEDES
Mercedes is a big well built '98 year old TWHBEA/Racking/SHBEA/Spotted Mountain black and white mare. Yes, that is 4 different registries, think of the breeding possibilities. She is 15 hands and is gentle and fun to ride. She will flat walk, and rack and canter. Some neckreining & leg pressure training. Not spooky. Has shown and trail ridden. Great Ground manners. Clips, loads, bathes, ties, cross ties. I have ponied off of her, ridden her bareback - even at the Florida State Fair....around those rides that make some horses crazy spooky, not her! She got comment after comment on how beautiful and striking she is. And she is the EASIEST to care for white horse I have EVER had. She can roll in a mud puddle and come in the next morning bright white!!! I use this mare for lessons all the time and know that someone is missing out on a great ride. Look close, that is a egg butt bit and she moves and she shows well in it. Trails, show, just plain fun.
THREAT'S SHINING MARQUE - AKA SPLASH
'03Black and White Double Reg. SSHBEA/TWHBEA Gelding. 14.3hands. Cute teddy bear that is laid back and fun to ride. Flat walk, Canter, Rack, neckreining, we have trail ridden him. He has been ridden only occasionally and still is a good boy. Pretty marking and easy to handle. Nice build, barefoot. Smooth gait.
'02 Black Registered Tennessee Walking Gelding. Romeo, as we call him, is almost 16 hands and bleached out black as we have him out full time. Smooth, fancy and fun to ride. He was built up before, but does not have that pacey gait. He is in a keg shoe on the front and could easily go barefoot. Great disposition. Has get up and go, but holds his flat walk and running walk and rack on a fairly loose rein. We ride him in a small argentine snaffle with great results. Show or trail this guy is an active riders paradise as he has the experience and does both. Has a canter and we are slowing it down to a rocking chair canter as I use him for a lesson horse!!!! Gets along great with other horses in pasture, but a bit of a pest....wants to play!!! Younger horses love him as he is not mean at all.
Ask about our onsite lease to be sure she is the right mount for you or your youth.
Dark Walking Gelding. Bo as we call him, . Smooth, fancy and fun to ride. This guy is coming back from a bit of a tough time but the sweetest guy you will want to ride. Loves attention and is getting his weight back quickly. Kept his great smooth ride and is a wonderful horse for just about anyone.
MS SUNNY DELIGHT
'99 Racking Palomino Mare 15.1 hands with a wide build. Fun to ride. We use her for trails, lessons, even show. She is pretty and sweet. Has a bit of a motor but can be ridden by most anyone. Smooth gaits that I can show you how to work easily. I used her in the kids camp this year as a student instructor horse. She will go in water (swam in the lake). Not spooky.

SAMMYS SUNDUST GEN
'05 TWH/KMSHA double registered Golden Palomino Gelding. 15.2+ hands barefoot. This is a sweet moving guy that loves attention and handles well. With his rack he is smooth and fun to ride. Show or trail, this stunning guy can go anywhere. And gets you noticed! This guy won every class we put him in at the Versatility show!!!!!!!!
Jubilee is a '97 Tennessee Walking gelding. Registered with the TWHBEA and the KMSHA. Over 16.1+ hands. BLACK BLACK BLACK. Super long flowing mane tail and his forelock reaches his nostrils. Gentle and easy to ride. Knows leg cues, neckreins. Flat walk, running walk, rack, some cantering (working on that now) We are working him in a full cheek snaffle and an argentine snaffle. We bought him back before he was two. Did all the breaking and had over a year of training in him. Sold him to a client of ours when he was 3 and she has owned him for 10 years and all she did was trail ride him. He has really strong hooves. We showed him this past weekend (March 20 and 21st) at two different shows and he place well in both (3 2nds, 2 3rds, and a 6th out of large classes). Plus we took him thru the extreme trail course...practically swimming and going over the large steps. The one on the 21st was in a covered arena during a huge storm. Parks to get on and off. Not a nervous horse at all.
A CAMPAIGN PROMISE
'97 TWHBEA Sorrel with Flaxen Mane and Tail Gelding. This is a wonderful gelding that is the mascot of the farm. He has a loving personality and loves people. Huge headshaking flat walk and running walk. Smooth and not hard to ride. Has a motor in his gait and an unbelievable stride. Not spooky and ridden by youths for many years. I have ridden him bareback and double. Used him in clinics as the best of the best in his gaits.
Ask about our on-site lease program to make sure he is the perfect mount for you.
